What data is processed, and why
For quotes, only the data that visitors choose to write on WhatsApp or say on the phone: name, contact details, date and details of the trip. They are used to answer the request and organise the service. The legal basis is the request itself (pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
For reviews, the data written in the review form: it is described below, under “Reviews”.
The data is never sold or passed on to anyone.
The quote form
The quote form saves nothing on the website and sends no email: it composes the message and opens WhatsApp. The message is only sent if the visitor sends it, and from then on it goes through WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), under WhatsApp's privacy policy.
Reviews
Anyone who leaves a review with the website's form writes their first name, surname, rating and text. Only the initial of the surname is saved. First name, surname initial, rating, text and date are saved; the website shows first name, surname initial, rating and text.
This data is used to publish the review. The legal basis is the consent given with the form's checkbox (Arts. 6(1)(a) and 7 GDPR).
The review stays on the website for as long as the website is online, or until its author asks for it to be removed: just write on WhatsApp or call +39 392 928 8376. Consent can be withdrawn at any time; processing carried out before remains lawful.
Reviews are stored on Cloudflare, which hosts the website. To stop spam, no more than three reviews a day can be left from the same connection: to count them, a fingerprint of the IP address is saved, not the address itself, and the fingerprint deletes itself after 24 hours.
A review is also removed if it is spam, if it is offensive or if it contains other people's data. It is never removed because of its rating.
For how long
Messages stay in the WhatsApp chat and on the controller's phone for as long as needed to handle the request and the service, and to meet legal obligations (for example tax ones).
Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as the IP address to run and protect it, without profiling.
Cookies
The website only uses technical tools that it needs to work. There are no profiling, statistics or third-party cookies: no Google Analytics, no pixels, no fonts or services loaded from other websites.
The only information saved in the browser is the closing of the cookie banner (in localStorage, under the key “lta-cookie-ok”): it is only used so that the banner is not shown again, and it is deleted by clearing the website's data from the browser. That is why no consent is needed.
Visitors' rights
At any time you can request access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and you can object to the processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR): just write on WhatsApp or call +39 392 928 8376.
You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
